NLFA Kicks Off 2025 Season with League-Wide OTAs
Bossier City, LA – January 4, 2025 – The North Louisiana Football Alliance (NLFA) is thrilled to announce the start of league-wide Organized Training Activities (OTAs) for the 2025 season. This milestone marks the first step toward another exciting spring of nine-man developmental football across the Ark-La-Tex region.
Day 1 of OTAs launched on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Freedom Fields in Bossier City, Louisiana, bringing together a mix of returning and new talent. Approximately one-quarter of returning players and several new faces took the field to begin preparations for the upcoming season. “It’s always exciting to see our athletes back in action and to welcome new players into the NLFA family,” said N'Dric Clark, Director of Football Operations. “This is the first step toward building competitive teams and preparing for an incredible season.”
OTAs will resume on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at Womack Field in Longview, Texas, and will continue at various locations across the region through the end of January. These sessions provide players with an opportunity to refine their skills, learn team systems, and build camaraderie ahead of training camp, which is set to begin in February.
The NLFA’s developmental platform offers athletes a unique opportunity to showcase their talents while pursuing career opportunities in professional football, trades, or military service. With eight teams playing across three hub locations, the league remains committed to fostering athletic and personal growth in its players and coaches.
Fans and media members are encouraged to follow the NLFA on social media and visit the official website for updates on OTAs, training camp schedules, and the 2025 season kickoff in March.
